Position: New Product Logistics (NPL) Planner- $15/hr - $20/hr


Hourly Pay: $15/hr - $20/hr

Position Functions:
New Product Logistics Planner to ensure the realization of the PGP (Product Generation Process) activies as definied in the Logistics Project Plan and according to the Product Master Plan; ensure supply chain deliverables for the implementation of Engineering Changes; both for new or sustaining modules or small options.


• Monitor and control the progress of the Project Plan Logistics. Attend and organize relevant meetings and reviews in order to realize the plan.
• Report progress and discrepancies.
• Plan, coordinate and administrate the material flow of PGP and/or sustaining projects by means of standard tools and/or templates.
• Plan and report on the timely availability of TPD (Technical Product Documentation). Coordinate the in time availability of parts, spares, tools and packaging.
• Report pro-actively on the material status on project level
• Order materials in cooperation with Procurement & Material Ordering
• Create, maintain and close production orders for proto modules, if necessary in cooperation with Production Planning
• Maintain the Material Requirements Planning in the REP system for non-volume materials(parts, spares, tools and packaging) using regular processes: requisitions, purchase orders, production orders, resevervations, stock, excess and budget control (in cooperation with parties involved).
• Ensure a stable, regular environment for all parts defining logistic parameter settings in the REP system in order to transfer parts to Material Ordering (buys) and Production Planning (makes) as soon as possible.
• Determine the logistic consequences of proposed (master and/or program) plan changes and related actions on project level
• Provide logistic input (ECR-plan Logistics, discontinuation, logistic settings in the ERP-system etc) for Engineering Change Requests from development and/or sustaining projects and determine necessary actions
• Ensure the logistic introduction of engineering changes on project level using standard procedures and regular processes (like upgrades and configuration control).
• Ensure the realization of logistics requirements on project level in cooperation with the GRM, who writes a product specific LRS (Logistic Requirement Specifications).
• Contribute to the Supplier Account Teams lead by Procurement on logistic issues for proto's and changes (like proto flexibility, ECR management at the supplier etc)
• As work instruction owner of one or more NPL work instructions maintain the work.

Educational Requirements:
Must have Associates Degree or equivalent work experience. SAP experience a plus!
