The individual must be capable of:
- Planning and directing activities of the quality technicians and inspectors, assist in resolving difficult problems involving inspection, set-ups, layouts or procedures.
- Suggesting changes in inspection procedures, quality control standards, equipment and gauges to maintain quality.
- Responsible for preparation of inspection reports and records.
- Determine causes for delays, faulty work or scrap.
- Investigate consistently recurring rejects and make suggestions for improvement.
- Plan, schedule and perform internal audits and follow up on corrective action.
- Identifies and reports quality problems or trends.
The individual must have a working knowledge of:
FAA Regulations
Preferably work experience in an aerospace manufacturer
Educational requirements: Minimum Associates Degree
Skills: DMIR a plus (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative), Blueprint reading, various measuring devices
Experience required: 5 years

Salary $55,000 – $65,000 annually
